Bio

tamaraautTamara Romero was born in Barcelona. She writes speculative & bizarro fiction in English and Spanish. Her Fingers (Eraserhead Press, 2012) is her first book. She also wrote the e-novel Arcana (Ciudad Escalera #1), ¡Pérfidas! (Aristas Martínez, 2014) and La momia y la niñera (Sociedad Júpiter, 2016). Her short fiction has been featured in Strange Horizons or Supersonic Magazine, among others, and several forthcoming anthologies. Her story The airport at the end of the world got an Ignotus Award in 2014. Some influences on her writings are the works of Jeff Noon, Michael Cisco, Carlton Mellick, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Poppy Z. Brite or Enid Blyton. Also the movies by David Cronenberg and Werner Herzog.
